Yes David, lots of good wines....

White: Vina Valdivieso Sauvignon Blanc is a terrific white for just $6.99 at Ranch Acres (31st and Harvard) or any good store. Also the Jacob's Creek Chardonnay from Australia is impressive for the price. Under $10.

For reds as well as the Cycles Gladiator I noted last week also try either the Syrah or Petite Sirah from McManis. Very, very good and fruity reds....

Good hunting!

Thanks for your posts. I'm buying wine for a party red and White from ranch acres - could you recommend a couple of bottles around 8-10 dollars? I know that's not much but is there anything worth drinking for that?

Mark,
Wonderful article. You write a lot about California wines, and rightly so; overall, they are this country's best. But I'm looking forward to reading about Oklahoma and other regional wines. Nearly every state and region in this country that can, have some form of local wine industry. It would be fun, and may be a challenge, to uncover some local gems around the country.
Thanks for adding another facet to the Tulsa Food Blog.
Kind Regards,

I tried the Barefoot and thoroughly enjoyed it. Slight crispness with a nice refreshing burst of bubbles. Bubbles...I love bubbles.

Thanks again!
