Here is some exciting news!!! Tulsa’s Annual Restaurant Week befitting the Community Food Bank is Sept 13th-19th.
Sadly, according to the USDA, “Oklahoma is the eighth hungriest state in the nation and number seven in food insecurity, which means that the food intake of some household members is reduced and normal eating patterns disrupted because the household lacks money and other resources for food.” Hopefully, this week will help raise public awareness of the food bank and about the problem of hunger in Oklahoma. Restaurant Week is part of Hunger Action Month. Ten percent of each meal will help fund our Food 4 Kids Programs.
On a happy note, this is the perfect time to sample some of Tulsa’s finest restaurants at a great price and help fight hunger! During Restaurant Week, you can enjoy three-course, fixed-price lunches for just $12.95 and three-course, fixed-price dinners for just $29.95.
Hopefully, this week will help raise public awareness of the food bank and about the problem of hunger in Oklahoma.

This is a great group of restaurants taking part in this years Restaurant Week. Oliver Twist Brookside Grill is one of my favorites. You can’t go wrong selecting one of their burgers, steaks and chicken dishes. Save room for a desert!
