Tonight was as horrible a dining experience as I've had in a long time.

The food was outstanding. The service was disastrous.

Poor Shea, I'm sure she's a nice person but she couldn't figure out how to properly attend our table to save her life.

She had two tables, the second arriving about 5 minutes after we did. They got their water/drinks before we did. They got their salads before we did. They got their entrees before we did.

We had to ask other waitstaff to check on our refills (drinks and food). We had to ask other waitstaff to retrieve us a cheese shaker and an extra fork.

The food was stellar. It always is. The service continues to deteriorate. Can they stay in business if they run off their clientele?

The first clue there is a problem: the waitstaff has 100 percent turnover every 6-8 weeks. They hire high schoolers, probably because they are trying to cut costs. Hire a college student or two. Heck, hire a Mom needing to work some to supplement income at home. Do something - get an adult up front who can ride herd over the teens who are more interested in something besides earning a tip.

I an only speak to my experience. I have never eaten in there, and only ever gotten take-out. The pizza is superb, some of the best in the metro area. The meat pizza, my favorite, comes with huge slices of pepperoni and salami, which is how it should be, the cheese is always perfectly proportioned to the sauce, and the crust is one of the few I will eat in its entirety.

Got excited when I read a local newspaper article today about the owner competing in a pizza making competition in Italy. Visited Andolini's four hours after reading the story. In a word: disappointed. The place was a mess. We had to wait for the young woman working there to clean off a booth for us. Every one had dirty dishes on it. The anitpasto was acceptable. However it was swimming in oil and served on an ice cold plate. Obviously the appetizer had been sitting in the fridge for some time. The pizza came about 20 minutes later and frankly it tasted only slightly better than it looked. The pizza appeared as if it had been sitting for a while. Dry and luke warm. Supposedly, Andolini's is a blend of NYC and San Francisco style pizza cooking. We've lived in both places and can't agree. To coin MasterCard: "Two Pepsis, an antipasto, and a pizza for $37... Learning not to get motivated by what you read in the newspaper: Priceless."

My family eats at Andolini's once a week. It seems like their service has really stepped up, and they now have a new menu that has some AMAZING pizzas. My new favorite is the Upper East Side. It's got brie cheese, apple slices, walnuts, and honey. It sounds strange but it is so interesting and it tastes really light and the crust is awesome! Each of our servers have been attentive but not overly. The whole staff seems to have really stepped it up, I think they might have gotten new management. I really think you should stop back in!

I just love your reviews they are always great I have to say that that is not the kind of pizza that I would like the base is just to thick I prefer a thin crispy base when it comes to pizza. Wow to be served that many beers at once is a little too much for my liking to. I know that in South Africa out waiters have to be a certain age before serving alcohol to their clients and that most restaurants, make sure of this age before hiring.

Joy~ I will have to check out Arris, I've never tried it.

Tyler~ I haven't been to the Olive Garden in Owasso, waiting for some of the hype to die down. Goldies has always been hit or miss

Gene~ The first time I went I thought everything was fantastic but it has dwindled fast. Our waitress was very sweet but not too attentive. I do enjoy their food, everything I have tried to date has been good.

I'll admit I was kinda shocked at your review; my wife & I have had nothing but excellent service there, although we didn't order alcohol. Our sodas have always been quickly refilled, food is fresh, hot & fast, & we've always left with a smile. Apparently your mileage may vary! I will agree the staff is young, but that's never bothered me. Their lasagna, btw, is the best I have EVER had ANYWHERE, & big enough to share... their pizzas are good but I'm not a huge fan of the crust. Arris is pretty good but I don't think they get a lot of attention because of their location.

You would be shocked to find the same mundane customer service at many other restaurants in Owasso. Olive Garden and Goldies are perfect examples of this phenomenon in Owasso. Taco Bell and McDonalds have better, more professional service than restaurants like these, ironically.
