“Come Out of the Cold and into the Kitchen!”
Tuesday: January 26th
Chef: Donna Cannon
An evening of delicious and warming dishes! This evening Donna will begin with cream of mushroom soup served with herbal crostini. Next up, Homemade 4-cheese macaroni & cheese, followed by maple pecan chicken. For dessert, Italian Cream Puffs will satisfy any sweet tooth!
6:30 – 8:30 p.m.
“Simple Seafood”
Thursday: January 28th
Chef: Amanda Simcoe
Join Chef Amanda Simcoe for an evening of simple yet delicious seafood dishes. These recipes can be prepared in about 20 minutes or less! Menu: Shrimp Cocktail Salad Sapphire Cocktail Sauce, Gin Radish New Zealand Cockles in Riesling-Leek Broth Scallop Fettuccine Lemon Vanilla Creme Seared Salmon in Dill Creme Lemon Haricots Verts

“Wine 101: Tasting Basics”
Friday: January 29th
Chef: Mark Stenner
In this first installment of our “Wine 101″ series, learn the proper way to select and taste wine to get the most out of the tasting experience. From understanding the terms on the wine label to decanting to selecting stemware there are many factors besides just “Pop & Pour”. In this class we will sample 5 wines, focusing on basic styles of wine. Wine-friendly Hors d’ Oeuvres will be served as well. Mark Stenner is the founder of the Tulsa Wine Club, which for six years has focused on helping people develop and expand their appreciation of wine through education and tasting in a casual and non-intimidating environment.

“Sushi with Chef Nobu”
Tuesday: February 2nd
Chef: Nobu of Fuji Restaurant
Consider a fun and unique outing with co-workers or friends with a sushi class taught by Chef Nobu from Fuji Restaurant. Once again, he shares his experiences of bringing sushi to the Tulsa area over 20 years ago. He will demonstrate the skill of making good sushi rice as well as prepare several varieties of sushi. Served over a green salad, Nobu’s simple and delicious sesame salad dressing will be accompanied by miso soup. You, too, can host your very own sushi party by learning the art and the skill from one of the best, from Chef Nobu right here at The Stock Pot, first Tuesday of every month.

“Cheese 101″
Thursday: February 4th
Chef: The Cheese Wench
Have you ever wondered how cheese is made? Why different cheeses taste the way they do, and how to present a cheese plate and pair it with appropriate wines? Come join “The Cheese Wench” and learn the basics of cheese production, styles, and pairings. We’ll sample about a dozen cheeses, and taste them with some matching beer and wines. Learn how to build the perfect cheese plate, and choose accompaniments to go along with it!

“Valentine’s Treats”
Friday: February 5th
Chef: Maryann Brinton
Join Maryann Brinton of Maggie Moo’s Ice Cream Treatery as she demonstrates how to prepare some wonderful sweets for your sweetheart! Delicious details coming soon!
