The Ale Haus is truly an unique restaurant experience. The atmosphere is warm, interesting, quiet and very inviting. The food is wonderful! They just rolled out a new menu and their daily specials list. One of my favorites is the Ruben Egg Roll appetizer! Wow! The London Broil is another one of my favorite entrees. A very affordable menu for a great date night. If you are looking for a place to bring your dog and eat out on the patio, be sure to give the Ale Haus a shot. The view of the river is great! Oh! And let’s NOT leave out the fantastic martini’s by Anna or large beer selection. You got to try this place!!!

The food on their website looks really good…I wanna try it..however, I can recall, about two years ago, being yelled at by some older lady (i think one of the owners???) there after I did NOT tip…..because I got the worst service of my LIFE at their outside bar area. Made me not even want to go back to Riverwalk… it was that bad.

Not worth the trip. You can’t describe your food as one thing then serve something completely different. They have a 22 year old chef who is still in culinary school. Not acceptable. Not up to par. He created the menu and doesn’t know what he’s doing. He shouldn’t be working there, he needs to be at TGI Fridays or at the very least a line cook. You don’t give someone still in culinary school something like this. Especially when they don’t know what they are doing.

Gone, Gone, Gone…
They’ve done a runner as far as I can tell.
Probably just as well, from the reviews I’ve read, though they’ve left me and the wife $50 down on a gift card.
Should have known and cashed in quick: Snooty at an expensive and snooty location is a sign of early bankruptcy.
