In need of a quick cake a friend ran by Merritt’s Bakery, after another bakery didn’t have her cake ready on time. She got a beautiful red velvet cake with white butter cream icing and chocolate shavings on top. It tasted as good as it looked and it was a nice option to pick up in a pinch!

This is the only place I could imagine that the chocolate cake is worth the high price you pay–it really is better than anything I’ve ever had !
